An AI contract tool, a vaping advocacy group, and a seller of tactical gear bought domain names.
One company acquired five country code domain names at Sedo this past week. And a Domain Name Wire reader who registered a similar domain years ago after reading an article here might be able to cash in. Read about that below.
Here’s a list of end user domain name sales that were recently completed at Sedo. You can view previous lists like this here.
Asul.com $33,999 – The buyer has forwarded this domain to the software development company Jouster. It might be the name of a new product or service, a domain for a client, or a complete rebrand for the development shop. Time will tell.
DeepLaw.ai $9,995 – DeepLaw AI provides AI contract review for businesses.
Quince.lu €6,500, Quince.si €6,500, Quince.is €5,999, Quince.ee €5,999, Quince.lt €5,500 – The buyer may be the apparel seller Quince, which uses quince.com. The domains were acquired through corporate domain manager ComLaude. Quince.com is registered with Squarespace Domains. I wonder if they’ll also go after quince.es. There’s an interesting origin behind that domain; a Domain Name Wire reader decided to register it after reading about “dual personality domains” on this site. Proof that you can make money by reading Domain Name Wire!
Vape.fr €6,000 – Fivape is a French advocacy organization trying to get vaping not to be regulated like smoking.
Strand.fr €3,799 – This domain forwards to the website of Strand Properties, a real estate brokerage operating in Spain and Finland. Is France in its future?
OutdoorWorld.ch €3,514 – This domain forwards to the site for Alpine Fox, which sells tactical gear.
Prestocks.com $3,195 – This domain forwards to prePO, which enables people trade stocks in pre-IPO companies. There’s a sudden hole in the market for this type of business.
Mindko.com $3,000 – Mindko is an AI homework helper.
Takton.com $3,000 – Takton provides manufacturing software and hardware to factories.
Wabanaki.ca $2,500 – The domain is registered in the name of W8banaki, which refers to the Abenaki Nation in Canada.
