A look at the top 10 .com registrars for both new monthly registrations and total domains under management.
ICANN has published the latest data from Verisign (NASDAQ: VRSN) covering the .com namespace. The data covers July 2025.
Here are some takeaways from this month’s data:

- If you’re curious how many domains Unstoppable Domains is registering with its low prices, it picked up just over 20,000 new .coms in July.
- Is TurnCommerce returning to buy mode? Its registrars accounted for 74,165 .com registrations in July. It had been averaging about 25k-30k per month recently. Its total DUMs slipped slightly from last month and are still down 1.6 million YoY.
- Wix (NASDAQ: WIX) topped 3 million .com domains under management, falling just shy of the top 10.
- I don’t remember seeing Cloudflare anywhere near the top registrars for a month, but it registered 73,157 domains in July, which is a strong showing.

Note that the rankings include multiple registrar accreditations within families of registrars. You can see the list of registrars at the end of this post.
