AI-related companies are buying lots of domains

AI-related companies and those building tools using AI bought many domains this week.

AI, AI, AI. It’s a common theme in this end user domain sales report. And yet…note that the term “AI” is missing from nearly all of the domains. AI-based companies don’t always have to include AI in their names and domains.

One notable sale from the past week is signable.com for £75,000. Interestingly, it was moved to a different registrar than the esignature company that owns signable.co.uk and .us uses.

Law.ai $350,000 – The buyer isn’t known but is creating a new site using Next.js.

Chargeback.co $9,500 – A company that uses chargeback.io for its AI-powered credit card chargeback defense system bought this domain.

Workday.us $9,200 – Workday provides finance and human resources software to businesses. It uses the domain name workday.com.

Ethyn.com $8,000 – Ethyn is a self-help tool that uses AI.

TimEllis.com $6,888 – A business executive bought this domain matching his personal name.

NetRanks.com $5,375- NetRanks is a service for ranking in AI answers. It uses the matching .ai domain.

ElSeptimo.com €5,000 – El Septimo is a cigar brand. This domain forwards to cigar seller CigarInc.com.

ForeverMap.com $2,988 – The buyer is creating a Shopify store.

Try.se €2,700 – Norwegian agency TRY forwards this domain to try.no.

VibeHero.com $2,670 – Vibe Hero provides tools and advice for vibe coding businesses.

Abstract3d.com $2,095 – Abstract creates 3D and AI technologies.

FXportal.com $2,000 – This domain forwards to the matching .org, which offers money conversion services.
