The registry for .me domain names has revealed that it sold 34 premium registrations through the registrar channel in the first half of this year. That compares to 16 domains in the first half of 2024.
All told, the 34 domains totaled €222,500 in registry fees before registrar markups. That makes the average about €6,500.
.Me premiums sell on a high-low basis, meaning the premium price is only charged in the first year.
Some of the premiums sold this year include:
- Bite.me – Interscope Records registered this domain for musician Renee Rapp, whose upcoming album is called Bite Me.
- Claim.me – Platform for making claims for lost, damaged, or delayed shipments.
- Truck.me – A truck maintenance business.
- Partners.me – Helps founders and business partners get aligned and avoid conflict.
- Seed.me – A software development agency.
