Company makes record-busting $250,000 .bot sale.

Sedo had a monster sales week! Typically, it reports 60-80 sales of $2,000 or more. This week, it reported a whopping 113. It makes me wonder how much of an impact Namecheap’s promotion of Sedo listings over Afternic has had.

The top sale was crypto.bot, which sold for $250,000 through SedoMLS. That’s the highest reported .bot sale ever, by far. The previous high was just $12,000. It’s unclear who purchased the domain.

.Bot is one of Amazon’s top level domains. It was initially launched with registration restrictions that were dropped in 2023.

Another notable sale was airport.media at €43,000. It will be interesting to learn who bought this domain.
